hey all,
after several months im still unable to get my car started
1.7 turbo on dta
its using a coil pack instead of a dizzy
and im only managing to get spark out of 1 side of the pack
some times big spark but normaly small
and to confuse things i get a realy big spark once or twice when i stop cranking
the diagnostics on the dta throws up crank signall errors,
but the crank sencor is brand new along with the coil pack.
ive seperated the engine loom to avoid interferance with the tdc cable (even tho it sheilded)
as ud expect im loosing patience,
the dta has bin back to the factory twice and come back 'no faults found'
could the tdc sencor not be compatible with the dta unit (exp 48)
or is there a wireing fault? altho this has been made twice.
or could it be down to basic engine settings
is what i feel like along with and
may need to go down the root of buying adaptronic with a loom allready made from the man him self
