SHOCKING! I only put it in to see what needed doing and it went ahead and passed. Still got work to do, brake efficiency was down to 70% so ordering a full set and discs and pads over the next few days - she broke down 1mile and a half from the test centre, who cares though got a ticket now. Might be driving her by next weekend

put when u say its down to 70% brake efficency u shud be over the moon.


verry rarly do i see a car go over 70%

50% is the minimal limit

so with u up in the 70's i wudnt worry about changing disk's an pads

Already done the disks and pads. The new ones look much healthier - Ferodo G88 disks on front and new standard disks on rear. EBC redstuff pads all round.
The car is up for sale now. Rescued it from obscurity but cant keep it myself.

Still working on it on and off. It becomes a love affair.
I have a feeling they will start going up in value again soon.

Its a shame, noone seems to have any money at the moment - including me!!
