    finally got my engine running properly

    well happy got my carb set up properly on friday on the rolling road and it made 220bhp at the wheels only running 15psi or so my guage says just wondering where is the best place to put the vacuum pipe to for the guage to get a good reading or dosnt it matter? its on the lobster at the min cheers

    on the lobster is ok.. u wont be getting any vaccuum reading tho... but your engine is probably seeing less that 15 psi if thats wat it is at the carb top...

    you can T it in on the line that goes from the Aei.. to the inlet manifold.. thats normally where people get the reading from

    15 psi and 220bhp... umm not too sure what to say about that

    If its 220bhp fair play. Guessing more at the flywheel though. But get a rolling road print out on here and we can all take a look

    i didnt get 1 it was done at boggs bros in east lutton if any of you have heard of it, its the best place i know near me to get a carb set up i'll try get it booked in somewhere this weekend to get a print out now its set up tho

    right i'm gonna ring up tomorrow to double check that he said it was at the wheels if not then i'm gonna wind the boost up lol

    You got the carb set up to run that boost, and now your going to wind the boost up

    I was ignoring the boost seeming that he was asking about where to plumb it in.

    he defo said it was at the wheels just got off the phone so im now wondering if my gauge is fecked i'll try my mates gauge when i get chance over the weekend
