your limiter should have come with destructions
but if it didnt its `easy
first remove the aei unit
second remove the coil from the aei
third were the coil connects to the aei cut away at the plastik so that the wires from the limmiter can be pluged in
Col, sorry bud , do you mean on the coil its self or the aie......man im thick sometimes...
The coil is attached to the AEI Matt
undo the two 20 torx srews and pull the coil away from the aei
...col, where is the plastic i cut too exactly....
as or when you pull the coil away from the aei youl see two connecting posts (round)(yes they are marked pos an neg) carfully cut awy the plastick on the aei so that you can get the lim connectors to slip on from the out side.
cant be a**** to do pickys as i have propper man flue
Just out of interest , those of you with rev limiters what have you set them @ , im running standard boost, whats reckon i set mine @?...
Matt empty your inbox
set it to 9k, but try and avoid hitting it...
mine is set to 7k, but i rarely hit it as it doesn't make much power after 6500 anyways
i thought it was sparky that likes the larger rev limit
i have quite a conservative 7500rpm limit ill have you know, tis getting upped tho as the powers still climbing as it hits the limiter
all working now jesus?

just make sure your wiring is sturdy an up to the job, the live wire fell off my limiter, you can guess what happened next! had a bit of a play with a starlett gtt didnt watch the rev counter, one bent valve, cracked guide, fubared piston! gutted took me two full 12 hour days of hard graft and a few quid thanks to some **** wiring!
Holy thread revival!
This really helped me today.
