    fitting jacking points anyone?

    New poster! (less than 10 posts)

    has anyone replaced their front jacking points(crossmembers or outriggers)just wanted to know if there was any issues with the job(i've just got 2 although reasonably priced at 43euro each)??

    i had new jacking points put on ma 5 last year. the guy that welded them in said that they were a perfect fit and an easy job. it was well worth the efort mate.

    my jacking points on the front need replacing , where do i buy them from ?? renault ?? any 1 got price and part numbers thanks matt

    renault are the only ones i think...i've just replaced the left one with the car on axil stands...an absolute pain in the neck!! if u can use a ramp an a garage it will be alot easier.

    im sure i have the part numbers. if i find them i will post them up later.

    they were around 27 quid each when i got them but that was a couple of years ago now.

    but in that diagram i see the chasis rails and front cross member.
    ae these still avaliable?

    a lampost jumped out on me last winter
