    Juddering/Hessitance

Hi Folks ...i just fitted a Forge FMIC to my clio gtt. When in say 5th gear cruising at 30mph the car jerks ..becomes hessitant untill i put my foot down.

Is this possible due to fuelling?

The carb is on standard jets and the boost is standard 8psi aswell. Anything i can do to sort it?

    Cheers

would say yes its down to fuelling but tbh if you are in 5th and try and get any sort of descent accelaration then it would more than likely stutter.

Did you clean out the FMIC before you fitted it Bob?

What does it run like on boost?

Try getting it to a garage and carefully running an airline through it?

Does it happen in all gears? Have you checked the dizzy cap/rotor. Take it off, clean it out with some carb cleaner.

I had a similar issue where it would judder on gentle throttle, then would be fine with more load ... cleaned the dizzy and worked fine after that

hmm may give that a try ...its a new distributor tho ..so i recon it should be clean enough .

Just called a well respected tunning company up my way called "the garage performance & tunning" ...they will setup my carb and boost for £65 with a wideband controller So im booking it in ..in a few weeks when money allows
