    Megane R26 Photo Request

As per the title, i'm after some pictures of the front suspension of an R26 for research purposes and would appreciate it if someone could post some up or PM me if they either own or have access to a R26/R26R.

    Many thanks

    Woz

That subframe/steering assy looks very similar to the current shaped Civic.

That knuckle/hub is a work of art compared to the Honda version

Home come, you would have to "manufacturer" a pivot point at the bottom, something that you have nearly done for your GTT Andrew. Shorten the damper and make a way of connecting the steering rack to the hub! (this is all just a guess, and mainly flu derranged chatter )

paul b legend status reconfirmed Thanks mate.

As for making it work, i'm on the chuck it together and see how it goes camp but as with any of these wide track (and this would be), it's going change the Ackerman effect for the worse (negative) as the megane has a longer wheel base? That said I think there are ways to correct this.

As for the rest, camber, caster, KPI, etc i'd just guess?

Andy, would using the R26 set up in your series be illegal or just too complicated to make it competitive?

What ya do is find a totalled R26 in a scrappy and cut the front end off and weld it the front of a 5, instant super suspension and 2ltr turbo lump

Funny you should mention that. A guy on OzRenaultsport dug this out for me:
