my scabby cabby gets some TLC....

after a year of hard abuse, and no love, the scab is now doing about 15mpg, smokes more than i do, and is slow as arseholes... so its time for a bit of TLC for the old girl...

at RWS, after costing me £55 to do 200miles... bad times

the new engine, 72k, full renault service history... good times

    new cambelt and tensioner... then....
    rocker cover needed something funky...

    with CTD carbon plug cover

all fitted up nearly ready to drop in

    to be continued......

they are a bit bright, had some cavalier takin pics of it on the way up... lmao!

gonna paint them ST orange like the rocker cover as the fluorescent paint wont laquer up well enough to keep the brake dust at bay

Re: my scabby cabby gets some TLC....

new update, started to rip it apart last nite, ready for new engine/subframe swap on saturday

decided to whip off the cat as i knew it was janked... it was all melted inside.... so we smashed the granny outta it and i now have a hollow 'cat shaped' decat pipe lol. that may have something to say about the crappy performance with a blocked cat lol

here is how it sits as of now, just steering UJ, one hub to strip and fingers crossed the subframe will be out later tonite gave the front panel a lick of satin black just to hide the rust... out of sight, out of my mind anyway lol

also, gonna paint wheel centres in ST orange rather than fluorsecent, thinkin mite do the inside of the headlights too... what u lot recon?

engine is now free, chilling out on a few bricks lol

got fresh with the wheels too, decided that fluorescent had been done, plus the
finish was a magnet for brake dust, so time for a lick of pearl orange

night off tonite to get on the beers, then early start 2mora to get the new one in
