Any chance of the Concept 650 wiring mate? Is it going to be different from the 50?

    Re: Clifford Alarm

Thought i made some headway when i wired them to the door harness connector found the doors open and shut fine with the Clifford alarm but when i press the central locking button in the centre of the dash the 20 amp fuse blows so i am not quite right somehow, the Clifford alarm outputs are set to negative in case you ask.

Please any help on this would be appreciated.

    First post!

My wires for the locking are wired into the loom of the locking button in the centre console. Its positive locking and i think the wires on the concept 300 are blue and green?? Doing it that way triggers the locking module on the car which drives the locking, against using the clifford outputs to operate the locks direct. U can tell if its correct by locking the car with the button in the centre console and then doing the same with the concept 300 remote. the action should be the same, a nice crisp locking operation not a slow stuggle to lock operation. I can have a look at mine if you need more help. Cheers

I have tried the same and the fuse blows when i use the button, i tink it could be that the alarm is set to negative outputs when it should be positive perhaps, anyone an idea of how you change this on the Concpet 300 to positive outputs?

Yea, you have 6 wires all together on the concept 300 loom for locking. 2 are not used. the other 2 you connected to +12v (Positive locking) or negative which ever you select, and the remaining 2 output a +12v pulse or negative when you lock/unlock. Its only 2 relays inside the alarm box. you select either positive or negative input and the module outputs it when you lock and unlock. The 2 wires you need to find will be gaffered in black insulation tape and proberly soldering into the loom somewhere on the main ground wires, find them and reconnect to +12v via a fuse and bobs your uncle - positive outputs on lock/unlock

Looking at the programmable features you can select positive or negative outputs via the installer programme features you can just change a setting.

As said i have two cables to each door and when the alarm is not being used the two wires are negative but when you press the alarm a small voltage is read on each of the cables.

    Re: Clifford Alarm

Is this a clifford concept 300 G4. You can only change the outputs of the locking by wiring the relavent wires to a positive or negative, so the box outputs a positive or negative, nothing to do with user features, cliffnet wizards programming etc... its simply a relay inside the brain. wire in, through relay controlled by box, wire out!! Wire it as suggested above.

I am looking at the installer programmable features and it states that under feature select 4, column 1 you can set the unit to output either a positive or negative door lock polarity by adjusting this feature.

So are you saying this is not possible?
