nom nom fresh rims..
Just realised Scraps runs those wheels in 13's with slicks.
Hope you've got done stiff suspension Phil.
WOW!!!
cant believe iv not seen this thread before now
car looks absolutely amazing mate thats one stunning red car
and the amount of effort gone into that engine bay is sublime
Appologise logg you can get these in a 13-7
Good choice of rims mate, always liked them! Did you go for a staggered set?
Evening chaps just wanted to give a bit if an update got the stretched Tyres fitted to the new rims today and I think they look fit bolted one on the rear and they sit perfect and it looks like I could drop the car 2-3" more from standard height and the rims still don't really hang outside the arches so no mods to the body kit look needed only downer at the moment is I need to now by some 5mm spacers as the inner of the wheel spoke catches the brake caliper so when I get some spacers I'll get some good pics also still waiting on 3 spigot rings to turn up
And secondly I have heard that the engine is pretty much complete and will be ready to collect this saturday or next Saturday let the fun begin
I'll uploads some **** pics tomorrow of the wheel on the car
Good news they fit, can save up and buy the wheels i've been eyeing up for a while now.. Would of had the money, but some c u next tuesday keyed my Audi, so I've had to put it in the body shop to get a few bits done to the tune of £500
I've got some spacers Phil, pretty sure they are 5mm, I only have 2 though from memory.. I plan on making the Surrey meet so will bring them if you want them.
Cheers steve but like a d**k I have ordered 4 today before reading your reply but I went with 3mm spacers as I think that's all I need plus with the 5mm I may need linger bolts to fit these rims but if I need more clearance I'll take em off you mate for a drink I know dave h has to 5mm as well
here is some pics not the greatest quality an unable to get the car out the garage new spigot rings and spacers arrive tomorrow so i will then get them on and roll the car out for some better pics
more pics
Phil, wheels look good you so need to lower the car abit
just had this little puppy arrive today so hoping to drop the box down tonight to a very nice rtoc member to fit and do a bit of a box rebuild for me
Phill looks awesome love the wheels. What they like on the front on full lock? Defo need to drop the rear tho. Don't yajust love it when big metal things come in the post man I want a sip diff looks ace
they look tight. get some pics up when its out the garage
Been over and dropped the box off tonight to Matt codered a very nice helpful chap with lots of goodies and the owner of a sweat valver especially under the hood trying to get Matt and a few of his locals to come and meet up with the rest of the Crew for the fete meet in june
had a play around with the wheels last night trying to get them to fit without failing anything fronts straight on no probs no catching and no rubbing but with the rears out came the grinder as i needed to shave the pad carrier down slightly as they were catching on the inner of the spokes
will get some better pics through the week when the car is out the garage
few more pics
last ones also felt like crying last night as i dropped one of the wheel bolts and took a small bit of laquer of the lip of the wheel
looking gooood!!!
the wheels are superb!
which and dimension?
rolled the car out the garage today just to turn it around to work on the other side during the week, so took some pics of the car with the rims on still think if i want to be cheeky i could still space them out more to get them out the arches a bit more ill see in due time would you agree the ride hight looks spot on dont know why all you boys fuss about lowering the 5's

Dont bring the wheels out any further, they sit fine.
Just a small update for the mo my gearbox should hopefully be ready for collection tomorrow evening thanks to a top bloke Matt @ Codered and finally got hold of the chap building my engine and the inlet manifold was finished tonight and the 3 things left now before I can collect it is 1 water temp sensor that needs fitting in the side of the head a set of 10mm magnecor leads to be ordered and fitted and the exhaust manifold should be finished by middle of next week or next weekend
