    top water hose pressurising

Earlier today the top hose (with the bleed nipple and thermostat in it) was sucking in, until it was almost closed everytime the car was drove. The coolant is bled up etc, i took it for a 15 min drive , and all seems fine now. Just wondering what could of been causing this ?

pursume this happens on boost, and how would you know it sucks closed?
it can ethier be the pressure and speed the pump kicks the water round, or were the thermostat was close the pressure caused a vacum on the rad side so it sucked in

car idling the hose was fine,, car revs held at arround 2.5k and the hose sucked in on itself.
