Update, almost finnished.
Interior basicly all done, cup wheels need sorting... new wheels on way.
Bumpers just need tweeking into 100% correct alinement.
left her running for half hour today and seems ok, just needs final tweeks etc.
Also brakes need doing.

Got the car out this morn.. being a steady neddy with my stupid lungs of filth.
Anyhoo new plugs and leads etc... fitted
Need a new sump plug.
Fitted new washer bottle etc (thanks mike you ledge)
Took it out and gave it a carful clean up

What's going on with your air inlet? Looks like it's pushing the air to the inner wing & not into the filter? Or am i missing a special JPRTUNING mod?

Just about to go remove the heater controls to wire in a simple on off switch, it doesnt seem so simple though

Looks like the dash will be comming out, one of the connectors that sits just above the heater matrix was missing. so fan was never gonna work.
I tried popping connectpors on the fan to a switch, but with the limited room at the point in which the fan sits in it didnt work.
Now ive destroied the fan, so new interior fan required!!...
Hmmmm dash out unless i can come up with somthing/a good idea

I have a nice 1989 renault 5 gt turbo dash already... remove the dash system remove renault 5 gt turbo feeling/feel

This would be my problem too, resulting in me grabbing hold of an angle grinder, and showing that dash who's boss
Dash out isn't a bad job if you just take your time!
looking great still and getting better still.. nice to see a resto from start to finish in such a quick turnaround, seeing as most drag on years and dont get finished
That didnt take to long.
Now that the dash is out i fancy a real mint one, but thats more expenditure.
Gotta drain coolant etc to remove the heater box assembly... thats a bugger but ohh well gonna bomb back out to the old garage of hate get things fixed.
Required heater box etc etc not matrix as thats new.

looks a bit different to earlier that dash does mate
