Hey all,
After a series of resprays and bodywork over the last 8 years or so it would seem the Engine bay oval plate has been lost.
What are options guys? Can I get one from Renault?

I take it you are talking about the one behind the OS headlight rather than the vin plate. Does that have any important numbers on there as the phase 2 just have the VIN plate on the bulkhead.
Hey dude,
My bad, the vin plate that was on the bulk head is what's missing.
Not sure if have to go direct to Renault as it needs all the right information on there or could try http://www.vintagsuk.com/
Gonna give Renault a tinkle , see what they say.

My plate has been worn through by the choke cable, been like this for years actually...
I went to Renault a while back an they said the chassis plate was no longer available
Ye told me the same
I had the same problem. I contacted Renault and it cost 85 quid to order a new one. I had to collect a form from them and take the car to my local dvla and have it inspected to make sure everthing matched. the form is signed by the examiner and a local traffic police officer and you take it back to Renault and they have it made. when its ready they contact you and you take the car to your local dealer and the put it on the car for you
