    Forecourt Trapped in time.

    Ok so me, MarkyMark, Gt Nutter saw this some weeks back, but its been on my mind ever since so i went back and took photos today.

    Its just up the road from my mat DJinUK. He will explain bout the cicrumstances behind it but for now, take a look.

    The guy who owns it, well his wife died. it broke his heart so much he kinda just gave up living.

    Hes often in there do the books and stuff but he wont sell any cars.

    when i asked djinuk if he new anything about it as its on his door step he said he went and asked the guy about the metro a few years ago and he still wanted the window price for it! which i cant see from the pics but i bet theres a few quid in that beetle if the panels were solid

    yea , tiz as said, the guy is a little crazy, still mows the lawn and does paperwork in the office, accompanied with a fly/wasp infestation, the place has a pit behind it and all sorts, would be a great garage, i offered him on the metro, astra and beetle but no joy, he told me classic car mag was buying all the cars off him , this was about 4 years ago, welcome to come up this way, if you want to find the place postcode is de11 9lh , church gresley , top of cappy hill on the right hand side.

    I wonder if any of the car actually run? I need if they have been standing for over 10 years they cant really be in great shape....

    Nothing more than scrap metal sitting there... The bettle is most likely the only car worth keeping.

    no idea what paperwork, probably naughts n cosses , they have actually been stood over 20 years so i should imagine that all rubber fuel lines etc are perished.
