    servo problem

My servo seems to leak air when the pedal is depressed half way. You can hear it hissing in the car and the revs rise. I have fitted a new bigger ms but unsure if this has anything to do with it? The servo is of unknown condition.

Any quick tests to see if the diaphragm is perished?

you could probably just blow into the vac hose and see if there's any resistance?it might be leaking between the master and the flange?

yes ...there must be some type of seal between the master cylinder(MC) and servo.as thats where the vacuum will be....or else its a fairly tight fit!

That's a new seal. Came with the ms. Just tried blowing down the vac hose and plenty of resistance. Nrv working ok. As said it seems go happen only when the pedal is depressed half way?

well put a bar on the brake pedal to hold it down a bit and then blow air into the servo.......if its escaping you can spray some soapy water on it to get some bubbles!
