Think ive found new gt turbo seat material !

Dunno if this is common knowledge but delcar 2149 was the original seat material used in pug 205 rallyes which is sposed to be the same material as an r5 turbo
I found this page of a guy selling a very very close substitute

I took my seats away to get trimmed with cut up spare seat material . Depending on how it turns out i may order a sample of this to compare it to and possibly get it re done

Hmmm. I think it looks like it might be the right stuff for the side and rear of the seats Alex? (but not the swab section or the inner part of the bolsters of course).

The material in the GTT have more of a ribbed pattern in it?

Agreed. This appears pretty close though. I reckon some tweaks to the manufacturing could produce the required pattern.

At some stage I imagine GTT seat refurbishment is going to become more important. Somebody like this guy could be very useful in getting material of the right kind reproduced at a decent rate.
