    wipers

    can anyone shed some light,comming to end of rebuild, just doors left to wire up, everything appears to work part from front and rear wipers, both got lives and earths and no front wash jet, changed front switch,stalk, rear relay and switch, rear relay clicks, sooo frustrating, any ideas, thanks

    Front - fuse?
    Rear - seized motor?

    Fuses are fine
    .im sure 1st time ever connectin battery thw wiper motor worked.changed switch/stalk. Guna swap motor later. Whats white relay on rite top side of fusebox. I messed around there few weeks ago cos thort it was fuel pump...im thinkin back in that area..dont know what relay is.

    No probs. I can't find that pic of the GTT relays where there are arrows to each one though I'm afraid.

    Let us know if you work out what the issue is

    sorted, school boy error of learning the 5. traced all wires back from switch.....yellow and green go to a fuse...no a fuse listed on cover!!!, fag lighter. checked fag liter. dead. had proper look at maual. wiper fuse!! massive thanks for help and diagrams. simple mistack if you know its there, iv been checkin other wiper fuse! hopefully off for mot

    Assuming you have a GTT, then there are lots of things that aren't working on it then. Either that or an awful lot of wiring has been relocated into the cabin


    Edit - in all seriousness, you should have a number of relays in the bay/scuttle. Not all of the ones in the diagram appear on the GTT (and some refer to relays you'd only get on European Renault 5's I reckon).

    everythings spot on now thanks. rear wiper not working due to seized. I have 3 of...all seized. apart from that all good. just stripped 1 ready to clean up spindle. just got door window regs to fit. all wiring original. no butchered up looms, stripped them all threw out car, checked and re taped up. just odd silly issues,thanks again
