    Standard solenoid dump valve

    First post!

Hi guys I am pretty new to the 5 turbo so please dont laugh at my question. Does anyone know how the standard solenoid dump valve is triggered, is it there purely to activate and dump boost when you hit the overboost safety feature???? I cannot see how irt works otherwise.

    Cheers

    Welcome to the club mate.

If your on about that valve which sits on the bulkhead and attach's to the boost pipe them thats all to do with the anti-perc fan.
