    Silverstone Classic

Did anybody from the club go on Fri, Sat or today? The only thing that stopped me going was the crippling charges. Would love to have taken the 5, but apparently the charge to show a car was around the £100 mark. Just to get in on foot cost a fortune as well.

I guess they don't need to make it cheaper as they still get 1000's of people and cars attending even at those astronomical prices.

How much was it to get in?

That'll be why I saw so many classics on the motorway today!
There were a few cars involved in a very bad crash on the M1

Oh no, that's awful regarding the crash! Do you know how bad it was?

Alex, to show a car it would have set you back around £100! I was told just to get in as a member of the public was around the £30 mark. Ridiculous money, little wonder there were many car clubs missing. Not even the Renault Owners Club were prepared to pay the mortgage money for a stand.

£30 is about the going rate for entrance to a decent motorsport event these days. £100 to show a car seems a bit mad?!

We saw it heading north around 10am. An Anglia and a Capri were badly smashed and the big barrier was up so you couldn't see over the central reservation.
The motorway was shut from J22 to J21 pretty much all day so it must have been very bad

Saw the link on Facebook, female passenger was involved in fatal accident and sadly she was killed in Ford Anglia, no further news after that accident
