The RB30 engines came about through a collaboration between Nissan and Holden (GM) for the Holden Commodore VL Model. The VL Turbo has quite a good following in Aus, but sometimes the Skyline crew use the RB30 bottom end with the RB26 head for a bit of a torque monster.

Another great engine in Aus is the Ford Barra 4.0 Turbo. You can buy a kit from a firm called Atomic that they rate at 998kw (1338bhp)!
