    fuel pump / filter

    good evening all, i was just wondering what way around to pipe them. Does it go from the tank to the pump then filter or filter first and then to the pump. Thank for any help

    I have tried it both ways there was no difference whatsoever, only reason I pre-filtered the pump was because I killed an efi pump running low on fuel (they don't tolerate any muck inside them)

    And yes phase 1's have the filter before the pump and phase 2's after. Phase 1's run the Bosch pump and phase 2's the pierburg one that fits inside the rubber Jonny. Maybe this is why the set up's differ slightly.

    thanks for the help, at least now i know it depends on the pump. I'm using the bosch pump on a phase 2 so maybe i will set up like phase 1
