    Water-to-air Garrett Core

Where can I buy core for chragecooler in UK or Europe?

I can find few places in States that have Garrett cores but shipping is more expensive that actual item and I need to add TAX and customs fees which skyrockets price.

I'm not interested in universal China products, need top quality core for custom build cooler.

    Thanks

Does it have to be Garrett? Most people use the pace core and use larger pre rads and piping iirc.

No, just some good quality. I will contact Pace and see what they got. Most of companies have air-to-air but not water-to-air cores for custom build.

Will see, thanks. Although I already searched on their official site and they have just intercooler cores and just of the shelf barrel style chargecoolers.

    Unfortunately just intercoolers and radiators.

Pro alloy and AH Fabrications can make anything you want - they make my custom charge cooler for the vx220 vag conversion on my spec. I have just had the core of a charge cooler in years gone by.

Same with Ah fabrications made the CC setup for the r5 Vag inc custom pre rads etc

AH Fabrications do good gear, I wouldn't use pace, too expensive and not that good.

If you want garrett then contact specR or mark at M A Developments, they can 100% get you the cores.

    I'd personally avoid Pace cores.

    Re: Water-to-air Garrett Core

ATM I have water-to-air cooper core out of chargecooler made by Volvo Penta.

    Dimensions, rough, are 21cm x 20cm x 12cm. Pretty good volume compared to Garrett 29,7cm x 9,65cm x 9,65cm core rated up to 750 bhp.

Ofcourse that I cannot know cooling efficiency but than again almost twice bigger cooper core compared to Garrett one.

I have the housing also but its rather big and would need to modify it to fit under the bonnet.

ATP Turbo USA pointed me to contact L&S Cartec in Germany as they should have it in stock, if not, able to order it for me from States.

    Re: Water-to-air Garrett Core

I got quote from L&S Cartec. They have in stock 1000 bhp core for price of 360,00 euro. Seems like a fair pricing.

In states you can get it for 300,00 USD but shipping cost are huge + VAT + customs fees.
