Out of hibernation and MOT tomorrow.

So I finally dug my phase 2 out of hibernation today.

I only use it during the summer months anyway as I don't like salted roads and I'm trying to keep the mileage as low as possible (68k)

Just when I tucked it away last year the fuel pump relay decided to throw the towel in, so I chucked a new one on this afternoon and within 15 seconds she was purring like a kitten again.

Tomorrow is MOT and tax time and everything seems fine apart from a spongy brake pedal which is probably due to having been sat for 7 months.

Looks like I may have to go to sangliers in this as the leccy blue phase 1 isn't progressing too quickly

Anyway, pictures for the pure hell of it!!!

Looks great - think this was at National day.

Just needs OE Decals and perhaps a smaller tailpipe

    Thanks guys,

I'm deffinately changing the exhaust. Mike at gt turbo spares has a devil system that I'm having but I think I prefer it without the decals.

My first car was a red phase 2 without them and this looks exactly the same as that car so it'll probably stay that way.

Does anyone know if all turbos came with decals or was it an option?

The paint looks first class mate. Looks nice without decal too! Some really classy looking 5's are creeping out the woodwork!

Mate looks sweet as, very clean as that can help on MOT (well cared for car)

Dont blame you about the salt on the roads, not much about now its just how shocking the weather has been, mines not been out long

    Good luck for tomorow!

I definitely agree! Red is not my favourite colour on a 5 but this is a real eye catcher! First class mate!

Could also do with a bit of air in the front tyre on the 3 series!

what can I say.......? I've got a soft spot for them (especially a 5 series).

I must say, it's jolly nice of you to drag yourself away from your sick bed for 5 mins just to comment!

I might have to give you a call this week (on the ponce again)

Believe it or not I'm aiming towards the sick bed again FFS!

No worries anytime for a phone call or two, I'm moving to a bigger workshop over the next week or so, if you don't get through first time try again in 5/10 mins, reception at the brands hatch workshop is crapola....

Sorry for off topic hijack slammed 66.
