Mike is the cover I done? if so then yes the gasket was brand new from Renault only fitted in cover never tightend down to head.

Ref to mod's basically the cover internals have had a few cut's to allow it to fit the f7p and williams f7r head. Without the mods it would catch on the upper cam metal retainers as they are shaped different on the clio head's to the megane, but the mod's have not effected the sealing of the cover at all as said gasket is mint. The megane cover just looks so much better than the crappy metal thing. Good price I think the gasket alone cost me about £20.00 from Renault
