    another silly question..

    hi all,

so after much debating with myself about whether or not to sell the clio im now hoping to keep it as a project..

ive been reading about tubular manifolds and not too keen to falk the price for one, so the question is.. is there any gains to be had by trying to gas flow a standard manifold (c1j)?

    please discuss..

It's been discussed to death many times previously, but in short...

Exhaust, no, although 'matching' it to the head is worthwhile.

Inlet, maybe, but you still want some 'roughness' within the manifold to help atomise the air/fuel further. Again, 'matching' it is worthwhile.
