rare?????? £250 come on.its a tape player i like the tapes but you know only for so long you can put up with the quality....
That is a lot of money, but it's not unknown for people to pay those amounts for unavailable mint parts to complete nut and bolt refurbs and that does look pretty mint.
He is a tw@, we all know that... but if somebody pays that for it... then fair play to him.

If the stereo really is from Germany and it really wont work on UK frequencies then it's really out of order.
I thought any stereo would work in any country...
Germany use the same frequencies as england, but places like Japan dont I know that thats why import cars need the radio changed.
if i was refurbing a raider and i was missing the tape player i would pay the money, how else would i get one? tape players for normal gtt's are hard to come by as it is
Searching the net for about a month I found one which cost me about £10 plus delivery from Switzerland. These can be found on eBays around europe which have seen 3 or 4 since I purchased that one but I only need one so I am happy with that.
