    Side Skirt Removal

    Ok guys, I need to remove my Passenger Side Skirt so i can do some welding...

    What is the easy way of doing this? Bearing in mind i dont like getting my hand's dirty but i am willing to give it a go.

    We'll make a mechanic out of you yet Penfold!!

    First drill the heads of the rivits off on both the side skirts and the front arch using a large drill bit (circa 8mm)

    Then grab hold of the arch & CAREFULLY try to remove it of by lifting it vertically along the face of the door to unlatch it from the clips.

    You've got to be careful mate otherwise you may risk breaking the lugs on the back of the skirt.

    Thanks Steve,

    I will be carefull but if anything does get damaged i have another set of Tungy Side Skirts in the Garage anyway.

    if it does get damaged, CGB sell a metal bracket that can replace the crap fibreglass item...
