bump thread
Mick / Mike,
Leave the OE sender in place you don't need to remove it what you need is a T piece to fit on top of your turbo core feed adaptor like the pic of my old C1J, did you contact http://www.thinkauto.com/ you need to know the thread of your braided oil feed and then you just need a male to female T piece with a 1/8 npt which is common adaptor for gauge matey.
Is your oil feed line a hosesolutions jobbie??
I have one in my garage you can have its already got the oil sender on the union mate free of charge for you mate but it may or may not fit come off my old set up
thanx guys i understand that jim but id need 3 adapters of i do direct from banjo its only 1, mind u jim i think its easier from the turbo feed the thread id need is 4an (7/16 unf/) male to female then have the npt take off with another adapter npt to male 1/8 bsp flat ill check fleebay and thinkauto jim, phil thanx boss for offer my do jims method if i can get adapters but cgb do sell the banjo adapter but i cant get hold of em via email, jim as ur always on that computer at work lol i got a job for ya find these adapters lol
just checked think they dont sell the adapter male to female
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AN-4-AN4-T...item3f07a33869
found this lol
does job but the braid hose may not stretch grrrrrrrrrrrr
also pipe off adapter goes really close to turbo was only going to use the cheap nylon pipe rather than braided, mikes tight lol
just going to jump on this topic
Anyone got a picture of a phase 2 banjo set up - mine has been modded and has a extra bit on the bottom for oil gauge but i want to do like in the picture above so need to see how the standard bit is down low.
if the bottom bit has extra take off and its electrical you can leave it there if its a mechanical you need probably a 1/8 npt male block off and then you need to find out the thread size above turbo mines a 4an connection but check yours first mate then you need a male/female with a 1/8npt off to fit another adapter for the line but thats only if ya want a mechanical mate otherwise a electric will fit straight in the 1/8 npt threaded hole hope this helps mick

And what goes into the very bottom?
