    Prima engine - 3000 pounds for a c1j !!!

    Now that is a LOT of hard earned for a c1j with no turbo, carb or manifolds..

    If you have seen this car go.....its not a bad build!
    This thing was very quick, bit expensive agreed, but phuch it went well!

    I payed £800 for a EP engine but would of payed no more. 3000 I'd buy a good 5.

    You could build that brand new for similar money if not less. Even with manifolds and a bb turbo that's still a lot of coin.

    Thats been around a long time.. over a year on ebay at that same price.. I know because i built mot bottom end after that was put up for sale..

    I remember seeing them chop out a small section of the rear arch moulding on a customer's car so they could get to the torsion bars easier. Saying you couldn't remove the bars without doing it (or removing the arch moulding).

    Years ago they charged me a 25% 'restocking charge' when I returned some braided brake flexis. My mechanic didn't want to mod the frame mounts to get them to fit. Prima said 'you don't need to mod the mounts, so seeing as that's the case, you either pay us to fit them, or it's 25% restocking charge as they are fit for purpose'.

    I was feckin' seething and have never been back.

    That's not good. I hate bad service like this. I can not believe they are still in business if this is how they deal with people.
