Maybe have a chat with these guys first. http://www.gazshocks.com/contact-us
As a few of the clio Trophy guys have found refurbing dampers with scored shafts can get expensive.

Is there any other cars that have the same struts as the 5? Got talking to a guy last night who dose drifting and banger racing and he has three sets of coilovers laying around off a Peugeot and Saxo vts.. Bit of a long shot but I thought I'd ask.. He has a mean e30 with a skyline engine init..

True it could be the 45s on the 16s it just feels loose when hitting warp speed

    Re: Coilovers eBay

Wheel size for me makes a gtt feel different, I used to run 16's and found it made the car almost feel slugish when turning in, the trade off was that on long sweeping bends the grip was excellent.

With 15's the steering feels a little more responsive, with 13's on I was shocked at how nimble my gtt felt, but I found traction was massively less, the wheels would spin up much more freely even with only 160hp or so.

Found tyre pressures to high would make car twitchy at speed. Play with pressures and see if you notice a difference.
