    5th gear at 1000rpm - what speed?

Does anybody know this, on a standard car, standard 13" wheels and tyre combo?

3210rpm is 70mph on standard set up (tyres wheels etc).

    Does this sound right?

1000 rpm i would say is about 25mph depends on if your going by gauge or gps as gauges are allways miles out. my speed O is around 10mph out i have to do 3600 to get the needle to 70

my five is like that on 185/50/14 tyres. Just changed the final drive to the Renault 11 one on Dales excel sheet and it lines up perfect with my gps speed and rev counter. So guess that means I have a 11 box in mine. :'( too short for me.

I read a post once that said "195/45/15's have the same rolling diameter as a standard tyre"...

Not sure how true this is as my speedo does not match the GPS, but the chart matches the GPS, i.e. at 3250 revs i'm doing 72mpm(ish) - I have 195/45/15's
