    Gah !

I went to drop the engine back in my five today.

Things went from bad to worse.

I couldnt get the gearbox to align with the clutch splines, so took off the rear engine mount. Now that is squew wiff.

I took the engine back out and fracture a brake resovoir to master cylinder pipe and it leaked all the fluid out of the pipe.

I have put the engine back in the boot and going to attempt it another day.

Frustrated is not quite the word.

If any Yorkshire folk fancy popping over to Doncaster to give me a hand , the bacon sandwiches and mugs of tea are on me.

Sometimes they go straight in sometimes they fight allways makes it harder engine on to gearbox tho. Bottom pulley off gives you a bit more room, use a clutch alignment tool, and turn the flywheel while trying to engage them. Other than that.... good luck

Campus pulley on for room issues. I think I was just having a bad day.

Pulled the engine out of the boot , spotted a small fuel leak from aux tank.

Round to the front , noticed the box was cock eyed

Put the engine in , snagged a hose.

    Engine wouldn't align.

Matches fortunately were not to hand. Another day - another job.
