    Bleeding rad.

    First post!

Spent 1.5 days & many rude words trying to bleed cooling system, pulled out thermostat just because & what did I find, no bleed hole in stat drilled 3mm hole & bingo bleed first time.
Just thought I would put this out to everyone if you can not bleed the system worth a check.

if you get an old pressure cap remove the gubbins from the middle and them glue in a tyre valve .
you have just made a pressure cap that you can fit a pump to to help bleeding

The thermostat doesn't have a bleed hole in it. To bleed the system you need to either blow into the header tank or lift it up in the air, open the bleed nipples one by one until a steady flow of coolant comes out with no air in it
