No one wants chrome! The current fad is to make the car look standard again

If you want bling chrome it is, if you want the original look yellow plaiting is what you need.

    Zinc passivated like this?

cost me like £20 for a load of parts I had shot blasted, I think I just looked in the yellow pages/online for a local place was a few year ago.

Re: cgb > zinv plated parts

TBH I can't remember how I came across the place, fortunately I had a shot blasting cabinet available and did that myself however i'm sure any plating place would have similar facilities available to them.

Try going on google maps show the area local to you and try different keywords, electro plating. shot blasting etc.

sorry for not getting back sooner,i tried a place to get bits blasted here and it was a rippoff!!
another place where i was asking about electroplating had a minimum charge of 120€....i did'nt try the above places but dont expect to get it done cheap!!!
getting bulk done works out the best....a friend of mine got about 5kilos of old nuts, bolts and brackets from a minor done for about 200€

Re: cgb > zinc plated parts

I have been selling them since ND2010. Not much interest in them, have bags full of items re-plated in zinc.

    Thanks
    Mike
