Thought it would be a nice idea to have a thread for each of the colours of the gtt

The first day I got her, before I started to take her apart!
Here ya go... mine at the Renault World Series 2011
So few about, hence I might paint my tungy in leccy blue with a tungy, anthracite or black kit and interior...

loving it
Here's mine at Le Mans a couple of years ago. I want to know how you guys make your bumpers black again!
Is that 2 Raleigh Burners on the back there?
Auto Finesse Revive is good on the bumpers. Dodo Juice Tyromania is nice too, it's made for tyres but works well on trims and bumpers.
Budget option, Car Plan Black Trim Wax from Halfords works well too.
Keeping on topic with the pics

Anyone got any full on side pic's of a phase 2 gtt in electric blue lowered with oe decals on, with either OE or aftermarket wheels on?
I am really seeking a pic of ole Mr Eugein Offord's electric blue 5 from a few years back
Cheers james
I've got a photo of Eug's old one on an old hard drive. I'm not at home this week though, so you'll have to wait a while.
It never had the side decals on when he had it. I've got some photos of it when Westwood had it before him, but I don't think it ever had the decals on then either.
I lied. I found the pic I was thinking of in my Photobucket account:
This was from the Renault 5 celebration event in 2004. It was a gorgeous car, until Adam got it
Here it is when Neil/Westwood had it:
RIP the ghost
well it isn't really Electric Blue but looks alot like it:
What size are them wheels tuttur i love them thats the wheels i have planned for my tungy
You've nailed it
Looks really nice 5 i love that colour
Also not really electric

Have to admit I don't think mine is proper electric blue either

That was my first leccy blue 5 at rockingham national day
And this was my second leccy blue 5 just regret not changing the wheels! And then regretted selling it even more lol
dunno if i can get away with it but o well lol
The engine only let go due to my poor carb tuning many years back
I saw the car at a ND a couple of years back, Rob@backyard owned it then, if he still owns it I'm unsure. That car was my favourite of all the 5's I've owned, it was the most complete for a start and in the best condition.
I have an Electric Blue but its with Mike and co at the moment having a lot of TLC and amazing the mechanics at the same time. Long story but she shouldn't be running by all accounts. Bought as a runner with 12 months MOT but bodged engine rebuild 105 comp, reversed firing order, knackered cooling system and piped, wired and MOT'd by Stevie Wonder I believe.
Hoping to get it back in a few weeks and then put the TSW refurbed wheels back on it, get bumper resprayed (after previous mechanics broke it), get interior flocked and she should look quite good.
Greetings from Germany ...............

Renault 5 GT turbo Coupe Ph1 in blue ...........
I was very lucky to buy it from Neil..... he'd put a deposit on a 172 cup or 182 after a family and friends renault discount from someone in the club, he had a lot off the list price to pre order the new model , i paid £1650 with a broken gearbox... i then replaced the box and went on a club magazine shoot at Bruntingthorpe...... i went flat out around the 2 mile circuit twice , including the one mile straight and it lost a ring......limped home had it replaced . Sold the car to Adam L on the drip....... so i had the room to buy the black cup car from Martin Sadler
Neil bought the car from Mark fish it had 52000 on the clock.... great car
