    Any tips for removing the front door hinge pins

    For the life of me i cant get them out, ive tried supporting the door on a trolley jack, Do they just need a good whack or is there a certain way they come out, upwards downwards.

    u need a PIN REMOVAL tool but to start them moving use a heavy punch and hammer.....the bottom one will push downwards but use a slim piece of metal before the pin makes contact with the inner door skin or else it will snag!!

    when i took door pins out before i just used a drill bit and gave it some beatings soon came out

    are they the torx type that screw in. as no amot of hitting will shift them if they are

    Is a pin removal tool basically the same as a drill bit and a hammer, or does it doo something different. Not the torx ones btw

    i tried everything, in the end a saviour in the name of BRIC came along.. and said try a renault 5 push rod, this did the trick, after trying vaious punches, draper removal kits everything.
