    high spec diesel

    First post!

    hi looking for a tdi but want a higher performance one any suggestions to which car?
    i have around 3000 to spend? thanks in advance jimmy

    £3000 might just get you a Golf Tdi 150, but i don't think its enough.

    I've got a Clio DCi 80, and an Octavia 2.0 TDi 140.
    Skoda is much quicker, but gets ~48mpg.
    Clio gets ~70mpg.

    Bought both cars around a year ago. £4k for the clio (45 plate), and £5k for the Octavia (55 plate).

    Passat TDI 130. Re-mapped you'll have reasonable power and outrageous torque!

    your right there had one before so no what to expect old one used to cost me around 20pound per week
