    Pinking detector?

    Hi,

Is the lead that plugs into the Renix/AEI and has a screw contraption on the other end the pinking detector? Assume it screws into the head (i hope so cos that's where we've put it lol)?

    Cheers

Yep, its a knock sensor (pinking detector).

In my experiance it does naff all though. If your interested in pinking then get a stethoscope rigged up.

More engines are being kept in one piece, thanks to that knock sensor doing its job, than people give it credit for...
