Before and after...

I dont think ive seen a thread like this one here.

I want to see how you have changed your cars from when you first got it ..to todays date ...(few pictures please )

Ill start with mine ...bought it 5yrs ago as my first car! ..looked like this -



I then over the 5yrs changed lots ..including engine conversion(c1j thats why im here lol),lowering it on coilovers,clio 16v brake setup and running gear,half cage..stripped the car out. Proper track slag

Got it resprayed(paint and laquer reacted ) and plated the roof after due to the old sunroof leaking-


After the respray and de-dent ...someone crashed into my rear arch ...was going to respray it before this happened properly ..but deciding its staying ratty!

I then added coilovers ..and painted the roof black and put the standard bonnet on due to the 16v bonnet having no rain catcher

Hmm been through a few changes will stick a couple of pics from when purchased to current


So in order of pics

1. When purchased From Bod,
2. My first changes (fogs and alloy intake trumpet),
3. Some more changes (OE Headlights, Chrome bump strips),
4. Conversion F4r (172 N/A conversion + 16v humped bonnet)
5. Current back to C1J (OE interior, there is an OE grill that fits aswell but no more pics)

To be honest all my changes have been really in the engine bay as I have had various C1J of different tune, even had an F4r lump under the bonnet at one point aswell then back to a C1J again different specs, different turbo's.




Edit picture added direct link with OE Grill in place and a further little mod to the headlights for a nice nighttime drive

found my stripped in "bods" lock up and bolted a few bits together before it was dropped off on a trailer.. then i got it back together and chucked it through an mot which it passed.. picture 1 is the first day.. picture 2 was a week or so later...





roll ahead 10 months and i've been hard at it doing bits and bobs and this its the dream machine i have created..



took me ages to turn what was a good runner with taxed & mot, into a worthless lump of tin.. roll on next year

Thanks to Deano (Those old members amongst us may remember him?) I got some 2nd hand panels in PR449 to smarten these bits up

But I didn't do anything about the Lump missing out of front bumper:



So in 2006, Stripped the car & re-built it. Took the engine out:



Got a load of new bits ready for painting:

As I got the car with the black speedlines, with the new rims & the rollcage.
As it stands it has no engine, grill or front bumper though...
