    Max Power magazine = finished

Publishers of Max Power magazine are finally pulling the plug after over 20 years

sales figure have dropped from 250,000 copies a month to just under 20,000

not surprising really as it's been a load of rubbish for ages but there is no doubt that we have all bought at least one copy over the years.

Interesting how the modding scene have moved on over the years really and it seems things such as flip paint, neons, lambo doors, huge ice install etc is no longer what people want

tuning is where it's at now, hence why redline magazine is still doing well

I gave a load to my mate a few months back as I the father in law wanted his loft space back, had the 1st ever issue in there as well I think sure they went back to the early/mid 90's.... had some good stuff in the 1st few years & then it went onto the large companies going balls out to out do each other & the home modder got forgotten..

its not like it used to be, just driving round my area the sh1t modded cars are few and far between, lads buy new on tick or better cars that even they won't barry up.. theres no cruises either, the local boy can just about scrape together a maccy d's meet and thats only parking for 8

guildford was huge, reading gate was pretty big, then it moved to the halfords and some bummers burnt out a car

not that i care anymore, but 10 years ago it was something to do on a sunday night and as much as we all take the piss, i once enjoyed finding the mini, cossie rs, 5gtt etc.. thats how i got here

Only ever bought the mag as a nipper as I wanted to look at the fanny but never had the bottle to buy a proper bash mag. Grp bodykits and janky mdf installs, nice. Was never my cup of tea.
