It has a hidden captive nut sort of thing going on lol

Get a jack under the tie rod so it pushes the bolt from beneath upwards, this should lock it into place within the steering rack and allow the nut to be loosened.

Use a bit of WD40 too...

That made sense to me writing it, tell me if thats not the case!

use a trolley jack on the bottom of the tie rod end to push it back up into the hub, it's a taper fit so this should lock it tight whilst you undo the nut. it mighT be reluctant to come out again, but TAP the hub with a hammer and it should drop out.

No need to undo the tie-rod nut to get the driveshaft out, undo the shock mounting bolts or the bottom ball joint and pull the hub away from the driveshaft them pull the shaft out.

Undoing the track rod end won't help, just taking off unecessary parts.

    Re: driveshafts

see i had that idea lol, i started undoing the two bolts at the bottom of the shock where it attaches to the back off the disc sorta

then i got worried in my mine because the spring is under tension the second i undo the 2 bolts it would slam the suspension down
