No Wash Wipe on Windscreen?

As title suggests, my wash wipe is not working all of a sudden??

If I give the lever a push nothing happens, the wipers do not sweep for the wash wipe function and the pump for the screenwash does not run either??

If I pull the lever down for the wipers in normal use they are ok but for some reason the screenwash function is kaput?

My first thought is to suggest a knackered switch but I thought I'd just see if anyone else had seen this & knew the answer?

Are the washer pumps on a different fuse?

Mine was dead and Ianm fixed it for us, I'm pritty sure he changed a motor a little black thing in the bulk head by the wash tank and took off the block connector and used two plug in pins works a treat now.

He may shed some more light.

i had that a while ago...just gave the washer motor a little tap with a spanner an she worked,cleaned up connection etc,had a look inside an old one very interesting....
