    fmic mounting advice

    ok im going to put on this front mount today and have a question which way up should it go. it has 1 bolt hole at the top or is it the bottom and 2 bolt holes at the bottom or is it the top. so which should go top the 2 holes or the 1 hole and which should go bottom or does it not matter

    I would personally say that it wouldn't matter.. I'm sure someone will correct if I'm wrong..

    are you going to use all the mounting holes and make brackets up? prob best to have the 2 mouting points at the top,

    yeap plan on useing all 3 mounting points

    mine is 100% solid and i just made to brackets that bolt onto the subframe, i find the boost hoses hold the top very very tight.

    My intercooler has the same fittings and i just screwed two bolts through my slam panel and into the intercooler and all is good, well it hasnt dropped off.

    Just make sure you can fit the towing eye where ever you put the intercooler because i didnt and now iv got a fmic but no towing eye.
