    santa pod Q

i no loads of people on here are regulars at the pod so maybe someone can help!
afew of my mates and i have/race go-karts but one of us have just bought the most ridiculous kart you could even think of and the list of stats is mad BUT we want to prove/test them so we were thinking of taking it to the pod but are we allowed??
weve checked and the kart is banned from alot of tracks in the uk but can you run karts at the pod??anyone know the rules/regs??

my 5 is never gonna be ready for rtoc pod day so im gonna be spectating but if im allowed i may try and bring this insane kart along!!(unless my mate spots me stealing it)

I know they have their own go-karting team but imagine that's on a round track. Have you tried contacting them?

I've seen karts go up the strip before just can't remember if it was for any special reason or anything.

that would make sense!!!!im sure iv seen karts run before?!
il give them a ring tomorrow and check.

if it is allowed at pod and im allowed to borrow it for the day would i be ok to run it at our pod day??

we were suposed to be taking it to silverstone for a track day but they email'd and said not to as its banned from there so were going to thruxton instead.

My work's got 2 company Go-Karts and we're now in a similar postion

What's the engine size of your's Mike?

The one's we run are 100cc, used to take them to a track in Tilbury but as i understand it they are being banned from tracks in the uk because of being too powerful and dangerous..............

    Re: santa pod Q

most of us run 125cc or 160cc but the one that has just been bought and is banned from loads of places is a 500cc!!!!(2x250 engines)

its mad, comes with 4 gearboxes and is suposed to be able to get to 150-160mph with the long range box!!!
but we havnt found a place to test that yet!!
