What's going on with all the natural disasters around the world???

Anyone noticed that there seems to be an earthquake somewhere around the world nearly every month!! Now this volcanoe has erupted in iceland causing havoc around to our uk airports due to the risk of tiny particles of rock, sand and glass killing aircraft engines.

This same volcanoe has also melted a huge glacier, surely all these quakes are not shear coincidence??? Makes me wonder if something really serious is about to blow up.

Yellowstone is now a real threat surely??

Is no one else raising eyebrows about this or do we really think nothing bad is going to happen??

It was quite obviously a joke and has zilch to do with me being on the committee. Every thread like this you seem to take over and make about yourself, members complain about it all the time. To be fair, I not only find it funny your thinking about me or my veiws, You as well as other feel or felt the need to bring me into a topic or make me want to commet have and opinion ,

It also makes it clear that you have no understanding of how simples you make the club look, by just trying to make me look a fool, and or rule me out of having my opinion or offer my help or give my reasons.

If you want me to comment , by all means name drop me , but other wise i think its best for the club, if you or any others dont make people look or feel like an idiot for having an opinion and posting what they want within the rules.

I did think it was quite obvious it was meant in a light-hearted way and others commented too. I've never actually made a comment about you before so "persistantly" doesn't come into it. I wasn't trying to make you look like an idiot, so I apologise if you were left feeling that way. Everyone knows (as you do too), that you are very passionate indeed about your beliefs so I tried to make light of it. Fair enough, I'm very passionate about mine too but they do take over other peoples threads sometimes, much like this. I never once said your posts were not worth listening to, I actually quite enjoy reading a good debate sometimes, it brings something different to the club. I do apologise if offense was taken, but it honestly wasn't meant like that.

Seems others can have opinions but I can't just as I'm on committee. Think I might actually shove spending hours every single day making this club work for the members if I seem to be offered a harsher response just due to a title.

Nature has a way of repairing itself...the worlds population has grown and shrunk 8 times according to some DNA experts!!

As for the spate of natural disaster's I wouldnt worry about it, its just records have only happened in the last 200 years & to be passed around the world in short time...

Just think 500 years ago do you think we here in england would of heard of the 850,000 million dead after an earth quake in China (January 23, 1556,)

Or in1737 - Calcutta, India, struck by a cyclone on October 7, sending a 40 foot tidal wave crashing ashore; 300,000 die. Four days later, a devastating earthquake hits the city, killing another 300,000.

i believe the earth lives in cycles,
i personally think we've had many ice ages etc the same goes for disasters etc.. i believe mother nature knows when its time to clean herself up of all the pollutants that have arisen, be it with earthquakes, tsunamis, hurricaines etc. all natural disasters have a nature of killing any living thing and it happens to be people more than anything else does it not! and it just so happens that people/mankind are the ones that have caused the most damage.
maybe mother nature tends to keep a balance on the damage that people have caused by ridding of a few million every so often.
it makes me think, has mother nature ever ridding the planet of humans before? i mean,it could have happened before and is a natural process for the earth to replenish itself.
it may sound far fetched,but hey thats what i think.

i think most wars have been orginised over the last few hundred years, you cant have a population the continues to grow the planet is finite, jobs have to be created for everyone, homes aswell where will it stop. where would the world be now without oil?
