on a vnt the actuator is set between the two housings rather than across the housings like a normal turbo

Look for the vane adjustment grub screw and as said previously the actuator will be between the compressor and ex housing

And No not all diesel nowadays have got a VNT fitted.

i thought with the tomcat its just a case of turning the housing and tapping it for the actuator? and blanking the dumpvalve outlet off??

unsure about the 200sx s13/14?? although it does look like it'll match up well??

are there any mods needed to bolt a t28 to the gtt manifold.? im sure ive heard the 4 bolt holes are spaced further apart???

im assuming that an oil feed adaptor is required aswell as a different size oil return hose maybe?

a T28 should bolt directly to the manifold, it's the elbow that may be a bit iffy.

yeah, as long as the extra length won't push the turbo through the inner wing.

    but what's this T28 with a T3 flange? Are you sure it isn't just a T3?

They're some weird T3 rollerbearing as standard, if it's an import model, with a plastic compressor wheel, iirc.
