Only a guess really mate, not really looked at one myself!

Mmm, but it had just filled up on its own since the last wash, it was turned off had no clothes in and had finished its last wash/dry program no problem. It seemed to empty the remainder of the water that didn't flood the kitchen fine.
Looks like an afternoon down the launderette. Fantastic.

More than likely the drainage motor has gone or as mark says the drain pipe out is blocked
i had the same problem, i investigated only to find my lasses g string blocked in the drain pipe
valves in the water inlet's not shutting properly, maybe.

I think its something to do with mains water getting in rather than the waste, is this something I can fiddle about with?
