    raising back to standard

hi folks, i think old age is catching up with me, i can no longer stand having the car being low to the ground, scraping over speed bumps, rock hard suspenion etc etc so ive decided im going to get the car raised back up to standard ride height

just wanted to know what everyones thoughts were to running standard ride height? yes i know it wont look as good but for some reason i quite like the idea of it not looking as good if you know what i mean, cant wait to glide over the speed bumps!

mines standard and it look silly, im for oe and all that but it looks jacked.. just level it off till it looks right, even 20mm would stop it looking like its poking its butt in the air.

Good for you, don't listen to this bunch ;-) you may find a happy medium somewhere in between though.

lol i dont listen too well to people but i just think it will just give me piece of mind, i will be able to get a jack underneath the car without driving it onto a piece of wood and also i dont have to go to specific garages to get a mot! the positives outweigh the negatives im afraid!

im going standard with the uprated poly bushes

if going standard i would run o.e bushes as poly bushes tend to cause a noisey and slightley ruffer ride

    Re: raising back to standard

my old silver ph1 was always standard height. - it gave you alot more feedback about what the back end was tryng to do, before it actually broke free. - i fitted poly bushes, but i felt the front strut brace made the biggest impact. - really stiffened up the front end of the car, but you still had more feedback from the back end.

    Re: raising back to standard

will be booking mine into cgb come jan to get it raised

one of the best mods ive done is going to standard wheels, feels like its on its toes and steering is much lighter, more agile and id recommend you haters do the same
