    Yeah Uncle Shackity Shack!!

It was an absolutely AWESOME weekend!!!

The high points for me were strolling up to Jean Ragnotti with Krissy M & the bonnet off his Cup Car to sign

Had a good day! Standard of all the rtoc cars was excellent & awesome crack with the lads as usual. Need to do the full weekend next year if poss

The only downside for me was loads of people bashing bags & that off the cars, no damage done to mine but looked to be a lot of freeloaders who didnt give a toss

my first wsr event and i really enjoyed it, great for a freebie, as briggs said, the only thing i didnt like was the maulers whom were obviously just there becauase it was free and pretty much barged between cars.. next time i think id do the full weekend , rather than just the saturday

The mrs took me down for my bday as she knew I liked "those cute little old cars" her comments were, these people are taking a big risk letting pissed up chavs walk round there shiny cars!! hope nobodys got damaged!! Got very excited walking round the collectors area, made me want to pull my finger out & get mine working!! Highlight was defo jean the legend doing his stuff in the maxi!!
I know its a huge marketing excercise but youve got to give it to renault for putting all that on for free!!

It was like that last year and is the main reason I didn't take mine this year, shame really.

lad with glasses on at the dinner, whoever he was, trying to chat my missus up at the dinner when i was talking to her asking for her number random as f**k

cant believe people were trying to sit in the cars, i had one leaning against my C2 behind the PFC stand, went round to get a bite to eat and he's got greasy marks all over the door, and despite opening the car with the key said "its not your car mate i dont believe u im sitting here, try and move me"

didnt take much for him to move after that, bit of a joke that you cant even leave your own car alone and people use it as a leaning post or try and get in it

sunday was the worst day for idiots got there at 930ish and a group of about 6 piss*d up lads come staggering through the cars cans in hand pushing and shoving each other. apart from that it was a good weekend.

Great weekend and got to meet more guys from the club which was good.

Heres a few of my pics too. Wasnt really in the mood for photos so theyre not great but thought Id share anyway.

Hahahaha I find this particularly funny!! (cause of this and the recent hype in the state of them just not 'getting it' - usual exaggeration and just missing the joke really)

and then this hilarious misunderstanding -

By the reaction on most of the forums, most cars parked infield would have needed these come sunday evening

I got it randomly for a different car but seeing as Emmas 5 had a little 'bump' from one of her neighbours smacking in to her right before the ND event we thought it would be funny. Its just a big magnet, surprised no randoms in the crowd took it over the weekend!

    Re: Wsr 2010

We both had an excellent weekend - the company was fantastic again! Great to see familiar faces and great to get to meet some new ones too!! The gala was brilliant!!

Big worry was as everyone has mentioned the total lack of respect for our cars by the "general" public.... people brushing up against them, trying to get in etc. etc.

What do you do? - if you a put a sign on saying "please do not touch" it's just going to make them more willing to do just that - witness the Clio V6 - if you try and bring your own chains to isolate the car are they going to just walk around them? It's a big problem and it will need sorting before next year...

The story of the primer grey Clio 200 as true, someone had ripped off the gear nob and the surrounding trim - animals!

Please come and support the car at the NEC in November, despite it being a non-turbo it was still a members car of RTOC that had won for the second year running!
