if i get one with a 3.5" tail pipe, will i have to chop out the rear valance ? or do they just fit within the standard cut out, looks a bit tight!

It's a snug fit, but it does go.

    Re: mongoose exhaust

I have a mongoose with a 3.5" tail on mine. Great exhaust, except for the weird silencer in the actual bloody tail pipe that's restrictive, looks gash and quietens the exhaust too much (for me). Held in by two things, the inward rolled end and two small spot welds up the pipe at the inner edge where it meets the backbox.

I took a grinder and zipped the inward roll off completely and then f*cked and faffed around for about an hour to break the welds and pull the damn thing out. Sounds and looks a lot better afterwards. Sit's nicely in the rear bumper recess too.

http://i3.photoblog.com/photos2/9016...451214-0-l.jpg got my mongoose zorst fitted. sounds the business, but when its cooking hot its vibrating off the rear valance, not much to adjust ,just annoying.

looks good all i need now is my turbines or oz's they look similar

Probably the best sounding exhaust IMO.

    Re: mongoose exhaust

Yep and even better when you remove that baffle in the tail as described (which you can quite clearly see in Olly's pic). Each to their own of course and it would take a brave man to go chopping the end off a brand new exhaust, lol.

    Nice one Olly, looks top.
